Welder (TIG)

Job description

Composing products by making use of the available welding manipulators, welding machines, manual welding equipment, tools and molds and the associated welding techniques. The work is performed independently and the welder reports to the department manager. Some associated tasks are:

  • reading drawings, welding specifications, work orders and associated instructions and regulations;
  • following welding and welding transformer instructions;
  • handling and using hand tools and measuring tools (caliper, tape measure, gauges and the like);
  • checks for dimensions, quality and appearance and rectifies minor faults;
  • disposing of products and waste.


Job requirements

  • TIG welding certificate level 2;
  • Knowledge of safety, ISO, quality, working conditions and environmental regulations.
